I could watch the news but I decided a long time ago that I didn’t want to fill my mind with that kind of input. It’s almost all bad. Murder. Rape. Natural disasters. Crooked politicians. War. Economy failing. It’s a bring down and generally causes anxiety and puts people in a state of fear and worry. And it’s basically the same shitty news it was 40 years ago. Only the characters have changed. Where’s the value or benefit in watching that? People tell you you’re supposed to watch it so you know what’s going on in the world. In some ways this is true. But for the most part, there is nothing you can do about it. And I have a difficult enough time trying to stay upbeat and positive. So after an exhausting work day, I don’t want to fill my mind with negative news and negative images.

I didn’t want to know anything about who was sucking Clinton’s dick. My only concern was that he wasn’t fuckin up the country. Feel bad for the auto industry? Fuck no I don’t feel bad for them. They purposely built shitty cars to save themselves money. They built a product that wouldn’t last so they could fuck us on parts and labor. Upper management over paid themselves 100’s of millions of dollars. From the builder to the dealership, they try to fuck us out of our hard earned money. They continue to build gas guzzlers, regardless of how over taxed the environment already is. I feel bad for the auto workers losing their jobs, but that’s where my compassion ends when it comes to the auto industry.

Why are these leeches getting half again? Did they run, build or think up the company their husbands own? Did they write the songs or tour the world singing 2 hours every night for months, even years at a time? Did they do the investing? Did they work 60, 80 even a 100 hours a week?’

No, they stayed home, baby sat, unless they had nannies, cooked a few meals, unless they had cooks, exercised, spent tons of money, entertained once in a while, kept you company and fucked you once in a while.

A nanny and maid might cost 100,000 a year max. Do they really deserve to continue living in the lifestyle they’ve become accustomed to, just because they’ve become accustomed to it, or because they fucked you a few times or had shit loads of your money spent on them?

I’m thinking they should get just enough to cover what they would have earned if they’d had to work for a living. And that’s a big if. Say 50,000 a year for 20 years which comes to a million. You can adjust it up or down accordingly. And realistically they should only get what they would have banked after bills, plus interest and invested earnings, plus child support. You’re looking at a few million at best. Not 20-100 million. Or something as dickless as 10 thousand a month for food alone. What kind of sick diseased parasitic leach needs 10,000 dollars a month for food expenses?

Noise seems to be a constant in our lives and it’s basically by choice. You wake up to noise. TV or radio on until you get to the car. Then it’s music or talk radio. At work there is often music playing or people to deal with. Back in the car at the end of the day. At home it’s either music, TV or the computer until its bed time. Little to no time being quiet. The book is basically quotes and thoughts of mine as well men I’ve come across in my life. Topics covered include religion, politics, pop culture, philosophy, belief systems, drug and alcohol issues, relationship issues, mental and emotional issues, raising kids, homosexuality and sex of almost every kind.

All three books in the series are intense, raw, very funny, very hot, insightful, touching and very anti establishment.

The basic premise is that a man can pick up this book and see that he is not alone with his thoughts, feelings, fears, pain and desires.

A woman can read it and see what’s going on in the minds of men. They can learn about thoughts and feelings that men often keep to themselves and even rarely share with other men.

Not everyone loves every quote, but there is something for everyone in these books and they are guaranteed to have you laughing out loud, grossed out, pissed off, thinking deeply, touched emotionally or stimulated sexually.

A little more about the books

I started compiling material for the books in 1990 and came out with the first one in 2000. Just after book came out I went home to help the family. My mom had been fighting cancer for years and the family was pretty burnt. Mom passed 2 years later after a 6 year battle. Pretty rough time.

2^nd book, More Men Talk, came out in 07. I was working as a therapist on an acute case lock down unit at the time, and just didn’t have the jam to promote a book.

Currently living on Long Island again. The first two books, Men Talk and More Men Talk have been completely revised and are greatly improved over the originals. I’ve also completed, “Men Talk Again”, which is the third book in the series. All 3 books are available as eBooks and will also be available in soft cover in the before the end of 2011.
